I was hired as on-site project manager specifically for this project. The General Contractor that was negotiated this project didn't have anyone qualified to handle a project of this magnitude and complexity. It was an extensive seismic upgrade, hillside stabilization, foundation upgrade, swimming pool repair and restoration and a 13,000 sq. ft. full gut design build, re-design and remodel along with a major hillside excavation with new structural retaining wall to make room for a room addition. We turned a flat roof over the existing garage into a roof top deck. Extensive custom finish trim and finishes, marble stair case, home automation, LED lighting, fiberoptic lighting, full pre-cast stone exterior, over 9,000 sq. ft of imported granite pavers, pool house, radiant heating system, plus much more. This was a two-year project valued at over $9mm. A very challenging site with limited access. Very rewarding to say the least.
